Garage Thrift Store Business Plan

Writer's picture: Jonathan M BernardJonathan M Bernard

If you have a garage and like having garage sales, try opening up a permanent garage store where you sell thrift products like antiques, clothes and electronics. All you need to do is stock up your inventory, you can do this by taking donations or by flipping products by purchasing them online (eBay / Amazon). To advertise you can put signs around (address & phone number) or you can post on Facebook or Craigslist. You can even sell icecream, candy or cold beverages to your customers or have a stand for when your neighbors walk by with their kids or dogs. You don’t really need any licenses to operate (it really depends on what products you sell). This should get you started.
