Gardening is a relaxing and therapeutic thing to do, plus you get to eat what you grow. Some people (retirees) don’t have any space where they can grow a garden, starting a community garden can do a lot for people, your town and for yourself. All you need is about 2 acres of land ($15k) (check with zoning) and set up deer fencing ($170 for 160ft) then take 2x6’s and make garden spaces ($40 each). You can install a well ($3k) or have water hookups. To pay for everything and make money charge monthly subscriptions ($20-$50) or take donations, then every weekend hold a public market where members can sell their produce, plants or flowers while you take a percentage (5%-10%).
